When delivered new to Southdown of Sussex in 1961 and 1963, both coaches were used on exclusive luxury tours throughout Britain and the near continent.

Built by Harrington of Hove and now restored to their former glory, each coach is fitted with 28 sumptuous, well spaced reclining armchair seats. These delightful vehicles are ideal for smaller groups and wedding parties requiring luxurious surroundings.

Please remember, a height clearance of 11 feet is required for these coaches.

Hats off to the sun! Available May to September, open top bus number 406 is the ideal vehicle for an exciting and unique outing and is a firm favourite for a trip to the races, shorter wedding journeys or a birthday treat!

Built in 1964 by Leyland, the bus seats 69 in total: 39 places on the upper deck and 30 on the lower. May we suggest you consider limiting the size of your party to 30 people (lower deck capacity) to allow for any unexpected showers.

The classic Southdown double deck bus of the 1960s were Leyland Titans built with Northern Counties bodies. We have restored and operate two examples from this period: one from 1964 and another from 1967.

Whilst some external details differ, the basic internal layout and design is the same. With 69 seats, (39 upper deck & 30 lower deck), these fine vehicles are a firm favourite with larger groups and wedding parties.
